My first car after college was a Kia Forte Koup. I loved that little Korean 2 door, though in hindsight I definitely could have made a better decision. Still, I think they’re attractive cars and I get a smile anytime I see one on the street as I reminisce about mine. Parked next to one the other night and just had to snap a picture of my current car next to the car I owned six years ago
Not exactly like mine, I had a titanium one and it had a wing I never liked. Here’s my old whip:

This is the only picture I have of my M3 and my Explorer and it wasn’t intentional. My first car, the explorer, and the first car I bought, the M3.

A man after my own heart! I love me small FIATs, and wish I could find a decent classic Panda someday to import here to Canada!
Also, we had a 1993 Dodge Caravan growing up (the Canadian equivalent of your Chrysler Voyager) when I was a kid, and I still miss that van, surprisingly, it never let us down once....fond memories!
My current ride is my 2009 Hyundai Accent and the first car I bought for myself was a 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.5TS that I still miss...
As for the Forte - I’ve always quite liked the original and the current gen Fortes, actually. A friend has a Forte sedan that was their family’s only car since 2012 and it’s done them well. I had to drive them to their hotel on their wedding night in it - pretty well put together, and peppy enough (would be better with the stick though). I always quite liked the styling on the Koup, especially with the semi-color-matched wheels that were a factory option. The Forte hatch would be more practical, but I thought the first-gen Koups were decent cars. Mot many around here... :)

6 months ago I was driving a C5Z. Now I have a Q50 without about 40 more hp and room for my dog, which he very much appreciates.

Representation of my first “nice” car, which was 26 cars and 30 years ago (yikes)

We don’t get the Picanto here, but I am also a fan of small cars! Would definitely consider one if they ever brought it to Canada, but the Rio is the smallest Kia we get!

In seven years I’ve moved on up from a Geo Metro to a 5-Series.
(The first two aren’t my actual car but are the same color and spec)
